Sign-up takes about 3 minutes. It runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Telegram, Messenger and Instagram pass through a Kristik bridge that relays them in memory, with no copy and no log.

Switch it off any time

One switch in Settings turns it off. If your phone has its own model, nothing leaves it. Otherwise, or when you pick OpenAI’s voice or a summary language, the messages involved go to OpenAI for that answer, and the answer tells you so. Kristik keeps no copy; OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to check for abuse. See what it sends.

    Messages, groups, GIFs and calls, encrypted from phone to phone. They see when you’re online unless you hide it.

  • Notes to yourself

    A chat with only you in it, on every phone you sign in on. It’s encrypted like a Kristik chat: the server sees when you write, never what.

  • Read without telling

    Turn off read receipts and opening a chat in Kristik tells nobody. Opening it in the network’s own app still does.

  • Send it later

    Hold Send to pick a time, up to 30 days ahead, in chats between Kristik users. Your phone encrypts the message first, so the server only holds it locked until it goes.

It depends on where a message comes from. Pick one to follow it.

Not covered yet: a first message to someone new is not yet protected from Kristik. Someone who took over the relay could try to read what you send or pose as a contact; your phone warns you when a contact’s security code changes. And none of this is proven yet: Kristik’s servers don’t read these messages, but Kristik doesn’t claim they couldn’t.

Getting started.

    Create your account

    Your email, the code we send it, a username and a password, here or in the app. Install from the App Store on iPhone and iPad, or kristik.online/download on Android.

    Save your recovery key

    A new phone needs it to read your history if this one is lost.

    Connect your accounts

    A code for WhatsApp, a scan for Signal, a sign-in for the rest.

    Pick up where you left off

    Recent chats arrive once; new ones follow as they come.

Questions.

Do my contacts need Kristik?

No. They keep using their apps and won’t notice a difference.

Will WhatsApp and the others still work on my phone?

Yes. Kristik is a linked device, so what you send shows up in both places.

Is it end-to-end encrypted?

Between Kristik users, yes. For other networks it depends on the route; the privacy section shows each one.

Will I get my old messages?

Recent ones, once, when you connect: up to 1000 per chat on most networks. Details for each network.

What if I lose my phone?

Approve the new one from another phone, or enter your recovery key. Kristik never holds that key, so keep it safe.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at once, in the app. Kristik signs out every account you connected and deletes what it holds, apart from a few things the privacy notice lists. Your WhatsApp and other accounts stay as they are.
